Scholars Program

Scholars 5 years – 7 years (Ratio: 1 Educator to 13 Scholars):

Our Scholars Program is an interactive and engaging program with carefully planned activities and educational equipment to aid in the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young children. Through our well-balanced curriculum of play and learning, children are guided through daily routines and transitions. Children will learn the social and cognitive skills necessary for their success in grade school.

Our unique Scholars Programs includes:

Low ratio of 1:13 (Educators: Students) for more one-on-one time with each child, which enables educators to adapt to each child’s individual learning style
Year-Round Programming; programming continues through spring/summer breaks
Flexible hours: Open from 7am-6pm daily (Monday – Friday) - no need for before/after care
Focus on S.T.E.A.M programming (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) to promote learning experiences that allow children to explore, question, research, discover, and exercise innovative building skills
Enrichment Programs and Field Trips, which include visual arts, science workshops, martial arts, dance, sports, drama, and language programs
A structured Kindergarten program with grade school in mind
Child sized furniture to welcome young learners and help fuel children’s imaginations
Exploration with scientific tools such as magnets, microscopes, magnifying glasses, and prisms
Early focus on numeracy skills through the use of concrete materials to measure height, length, weight, volume, and time
Enhanced focus on Literacy and Communication Skills (Listening, Talking, Reading, Writing)
Social development through building relationships with adults and peers, cultural diversity, social responsibility, cooperative play, and positive problem-solving strategies
Exploring various means of art, such as drawing, painting, sculpting, weaving, collage, etc.
